Effect:
Break all current engagements and move away without providing free attacks. Cannot be used if there is no room to move.

A warrior who is engaged in melee has two options for breaking engagements. The first option is to Disengage. This action will carefully move the warrior back from the current engagements and allow them to use the remainder of the Offense and Strategy Points as they wish. If the warrior is only engaged with a Stunned enemy, they can Disengage at no SP or OP cost.

Effect:
Break all current engagements and run a short distance. Every engaged enemy is granted a free attack against the user. Cannot be used if there is no room to move.

Engaged warriors also have the option to Flee from their engagements. This voluntary retreat costs only 1 SP but provokes free attacks from any engaged enemy. If the warrior survives these attacks, they will continue to run away from combat for a distance, costing additional SP. After this movement, the fleeing warrior will be allowed to use the remainder of their SP and OP as they wish.

Both actions require the warrior to have enough room to to perform the action - a warrior who is surrounded will not be able to Disengage or Flee. Some warriors may have perks, skills or injuries which prevent them from using Disengage or Flee while some skills and spells can increase the cost of Disengage and Flee for enemy warriors.
